Robert J. Aldrich is currently serving as the Director of Operations and Campus Planning at the Hackley School. Located on a hilltop above the Hudson River in Tarrytown, New York, Hackley is an independent, college-preparatory, nonsectarian, day and boarding school for students in kindergarten throguh tewelth grade. Founded in 1899, Hackley has an enrollment of approximately 850 students. As the Director of Operations and Campus Planning, Bobby serves as a member of the School's Senior Administrative Team, reporting directly to the Head of School, and oversees the non-academic functions and logistics of the school, including responsibility for the physical plant and campus, transportation, environmental sustainability initiatives, captial projects, campus safety and security, food service, school calendar, auxiliary programs, and information technology.
Director Aldrich attended Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. He went on to earn a masters degree in Business Administration and Leadership from Franklin Pierce College. Prior to his role at Hackley, Director Aldrich served as the Director of Operations at Miss Hall's School in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and as the Programs Manager and Accreditation Manager in the Office of Campus Safety at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire. Prior to his work in independent schools, Bobby served as the appointed Chief of Police for the Town of South Hampton, New Hampshire and it is believed that Chief Aldrich, at the time, was the youngest Chief of Police in New Hampshrie history.
